Why do saints get angry when being advised?

P: This question haunted me for long.

The saints justify their anger or reject the advice by condemning their advise-giver as not being gracious or not doing with a gentle spirit.
This indeed is their natural man in all its glory.
He takes the stuff of God & apply in a wrong way to mask or perverse the truth.
But there is real hope for such saints.

Real hope is the one that comes from Scripture.
If those saints renew their minds in faith on Jesus with the truth hidden in this proverb, then they have a real hope for deliverance ❤.

The ear that listens to life-giving reproof will dwell among the wise. Whoever ignores instruction despises himself, but he who listens to reproof gains intelligence. The fear of the Lord is instruction in wisdom, and humility comes before honor. Prov 15:31‭-‬33 ESV

Otherwise, they'll continue in their condemning attitude towards their advise-giver. 😔

C: I'll say the main reason a saint get angry when being advised is bcoz of pure pride. When v think v r better off spiritually than others and when others give advise this pride kicks in

R: Very true

V: Another reason is as stated in proverbs, 'No advise is pleasant at the time it is given(taken) it is As bitter medicine but the one who sits and thinks it through will benefit'.
So don’t expect good reception. Rather that the word would do its work
Look for any proof later.

P: yep, & when we encounter one such saint, have u experienced the anger that comes from within us? That's more difficult to handle & it takes years to practice our reaction to stay within kingdom of God according to this scripture: 😊😉

Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of GENTLENESS. Keep watch on YOURSELF, lest you too be tempted. Galatians 6:1

Having said that, I love the treatment plan of God for what's within our heart:

Jesus said, “What comes out of a person is what defiles him. For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.” Mark 7:20-23

He pours his spirit into us the moment we practice following Jesus. And, convicts us of our sins one by one slowly & steadily, & then leads us into his righteousness away from our self-righteousness, & finally judges our heart by his words.
And, by faith in Jesus we shift gears into an everlasting life in the middle of our sick heart with increasing good health of our heart.
