Wife's dreams of companionship with husband are squashed.

Husband's dreams of accomplishments with wife are squashed.

Oh! Are you wondering who squashed?

Who else? Our Self, Demons, or Devil!

Oh! Are you wondering a rationale answer be much better?
Well, let us say, Various Complex Situations.

The most depressing situation in this world is the above situation between husband and wife can be found and are present in many Christian families.

Neither Husband has any clue about loving Christ deeply and widely in order to embrace and accept both wife's and children's weaknesses as his own weakness. Nor Wife has any clue about loving Christ deeply and widely in order to accept husband's leadership in spite of his weaknesses and immaturities.

I encourage young men and women who do not love Christ to stay away from marriage; just go on remaining single and enjoy this temporal life.

I encourage parents who see their children not loving Christ to encourage them to remain single. Because they are going to screw-up their marriage anyways. "Let's get them married somehow. Somehow through their life partner, my son or daughter will return back to Christ," is evil thought if not shared upfront with the prospective life partner. 

Aiming for eternal life on this earth for everlasting sense of worthiness in Christ, joy and peace is indeed hard disciplined work. God reciprocates and does the needful. Amen!

29 Apr 2019: Good morning, today's Bible passage is taken from Matthew 4:1-11. 😝Am I talking like a pastor? 😄😄 Today I decided to read a small but significant passage. It is about the temptation of Jesus. In the Bible it says that Jesus was led into the wilderness by the Holy Spirit and ate nothing for 40 days and 40 nights. Though this seems a bit ritualistic, Jesus, the son of God was fasting while praying, and so it is fine. Also, our God is not a ritualistic God; neither is his Son. When I read the phrase '40 days and 40 nights', I made reference to Noah and Moses: Noah was in the ark with his family and the animals while it rained for 40 DAYS AND 40 NIGHTS; Moses saw God's glory on Mount Sinai and stayed there for 40 DAYS AND 40 NIGHTS. I don't know whether there is any connection between Noah, Moses and Jesus Christ, but I hope I keep this in mind so that maybe in the future if I ever come across something like this it would be useful informa

Shall we first see what bible says about honoring and caring for our parents throughout their lives? Honoring Parents: Exodus 20:12: "Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you." Proverbs 23:22: "Listen to your father, who gave you life, and do not despise your mother when she is old." Caring for Parents: 1 Timothy 5:4: "But if a widow has children or grandchildren, these should learn first of all to put their religion into practice by caring for their own family and so repaying their parents and grandparents, for this is pleasing to God."
